Even though it was released in the final quarter of the year, Guitars and Malaria became one of my most listened to “albums” of the year. His previous album Bond reached number 24 on the Apple Music Top 100 World Albums. I find myself frequently returning to a few tracks from the album, especially Pick Up and Feeling!
Kemena produced and sang on Joeboy’s The Best For You from the Body & Soul album.
Aabena could easily be overlooked because it isn’t on either album, but I absolutely love this song, featuring KwinDsiren!

Ukwu Valentine Nnadozie (Valdozzy) is an Afro R&B artist from Enugu, Nigeria. The first Tune Into You Media spotlight series featured Valdozzy, highlighting music from his EPs Magic and Wild Dreams. From the moment I heard the title single Wild Dreams, I was hooked.
Having studied Fine Arts at University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Valdozzy has been surrounded with incredibly talented friends and fellow artists. I am incredibly blessed to have gotten to know him and some of his friends, many of whom I will be spotlighting at Tune Into You Media!

Coming soon! A spotlight series on Kwin D Siren! I first discovered Kwin D Siren through her collaboration on Kemena’s Aabena.
KwinDsiren is a soul priestess and healer who uses music to help people connect to their higher self. She is an Emotionally intuitive artiste whose goal is to influence a generation of self aware individuals. She an independent artist who expresses her craft through music, dance, storytelling and humanitarian services.

Dayo better known as “D1”, is one of the founding pioneers of the modern day Afrobeats genre. He owns and runs Sierra Communications and DC Bar and Suites.
He and his long time friend and business partner, Kenny Ogungbe featured prominently in the Netflix docuseries “Afrobeats: The Backstory”, directed by Ayo Shonaiya.
Kenny & D1 hosted the popular AIT Jamz and then PrimeTime Africa, becoming the prominent influencers of their time, catapulting Nigerian music and entertainment into the public’s awareness. Kenny currently owns 104.1 FM, Lagos and Kennis Music, a record label that formed in 1998 and represented many significant artists of the time including 2face, Tony Tetuila, Sound Sultan, Baba Dee, Eedris Abdulkareem, to name a few.
Dayo and Kenny own Primetime Entertainment Ltd and Dayo also owns and runs Sierra Communications and DC Bar and Suites.
